DONATION REQUESTS

For more than 60 years, the New Port Richey Elks have been proud to make donations to local non-profits that help improve our local community.

With its founding in 1963, our organization began a long history of helping with the needs of the community, raising funds for our neighbors in the Tampa Bay area.

Over the years, our members have raised over $1,500,000 to help those in need. We aim to continue making a positive impact on people’s lives through our contributions of our time, our marketing engine, and our financial support.

Throughout the years, we have been overwhelmed by requests for financial and promotional assistance. These requests come from both individuals and organizations. 

Due to the high volume of donation requests, which require careful review, planning, and consideration, we have established this charity request form for completion.

This charity request form enables us to evaluate each request based on its impact on the community, the level of need, and compatibility with our motto: “Elks Care, Elks Share.”

Please review our guidelines to make certain your request qualifies for consideration. If selected, your organization will be contacted for future charity events. 

Generally, funds are considered on the following:

• Schools and Education, Health, Medical and Human Services groups
• Veterinary Health and Service organizations
• Veteran organizations
• Children’s Health, Medical, Advocate and Support groups
• Low-Income Assistance organizations
• MUST be a non-profit 501(c)3 as designated by the IRS
• MUST be located in Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough or Hernando counties

Donation funds are not considered for the following:

• Individuals
• Professional and Semi-Professional Sports
• National Organizations
• Political Parties or Candidates
• Groups, individuals, or organizations that discriminate (or advocate discrimination) or promote violence of any kind
• Requests lacking a clear cut plan for the money requested or inconsistent information
